# Create a project or epic in AI Control Tower

Create a project or epic from the Execute page to track AI-related delivery work in AI Control Tower.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_ai\_governance.ai\_steward

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **AI Control Tower** > **Home 2.0**.

2.  Navigate to **Plan** > **Execute**.

3.  In the **Project** or **Epic** list, select **New**.

4.  On the form, fill in the fields.

    -   [Epic form](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/intelligent-experiences/aict-plan-epic-form.md) for epics.
    -   [Project form](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/intelligent-experiences/aict-plan-project-form.md) for projects.
    These forms are displayed based on the Default view of the project and epic.

    **Note:** The **Investment Type** field must be set to **Artificial Intelligence** or the **Product** field must be set to **AI System**.

5.  Select **Save**.

    The new record is displayed in the respective list if it meets the list's display criteria.
