# Discovering AI assets

Populate your AI asset inventory automatically as AI Control Tower discovers AI assets across external platforms, hyperscaler traces, and your ServiceNow instance.

AI Control Tower can discovery AI assets and add them to your inventory automatically. For example, AI Control Tower discovers assets running on external platforms through connectors or traces, and detects ServiceNow AI assets natively as they're activated on your instance.
