# Act on AI asset governance insight recommendations

Resolve Stalled Lifecycle Tasks and Significant Issues recommendations to keep AI systems moving through their governance life cycle.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_ai\_governance.ai\_steward

## About this task

The Your top recommendations widget on the **Risk & Compliance** tab under **Govern** surfaces recommendations from the Stalled Lifecycle Tasks and Significant Issues insights.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **AI Control Tower** > **Home** > **Govern** > **Risk & Compliance**.

2.  Act on recommendations from Stalled Lifecycle Tasks:

    1.  Select the arrow next to a stalled task item.

        The list of lifecycle tasks on that AI system that have seen no progress or updates opens.

    2.  In the task list, select a task to open its details.

    3.  Take action to resume the task, such as updating the task status, reassigning it, or adding a work note.

        You can also select **Automate with Otto** to have an AI agent act on the recommendation for you.         **Important:**

        Automate with Otto uses an unsupervised AI agent to act on this recommendation. AI-generated actions can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review the recommendation and the task it applies to before you select **Automate with Otto**.

    When you address a stalled task \(such as completing it, updating its status, or reassigning it\), it is removed from the recommendation list. The AI system moves forward through its governance life cycle.

3.  Act on recommendations from Significant Issues:

    1.  Select the arrow next to a significant issue item.

        The list of open issues associated with that AI system opens.

    2.  In the issue list, select an issue to open its details and review its impact on risk or compliance.

    3.  Take action to mitigate or resolve the issue, such as updating the issue status, adding mitigation steps, or assigning a remediation owner.

    When you resolve a significant issue \(such as closing it, implementing mitigations, or reducing its compliance impact\), it is removed from the recommendation list. The risk and compliance posture of your AI system improves.

4.  To view all recommendations, select **See all Recommendations in Activity Center**.
