# Use prompt assistance

Use prompt assistance to start your prompt from an example in the prompt library or from a prompt that ServiceNow Otto generates.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_skill\_builder.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **AI Skill Kit** > **Home**.

2.  Create a skill or select the skill that you want to use prompt assistance for.

3.  Select the prompt assistance icon \[Omitted image "icon-nask-prompt-assistance.png"\] Alt text:.

4.  Select the **Library** tab to search for a prompt from the prompt library.

6.  Select the **AI generated** tab to generate a prompt from a description of what you need.
