The terms and conditions can be searched and used in reports. If multiple terms and conditions records are added to a single contract, set an order for the records so they appear in a specific sequence. The terms and conditions fields become read-only after a contract is sent for approval. Users with the contract\_manager role can read contract history and add terms and conditions. There are three procedures involved in adding terms and conditions to a contract: - **[Create a terms and conditions record](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-asset-management/contract-management/t_CreateATermsAndConditionsRecord.md)** You can create a terms and conditions record to add to a contract. - **[Add terms and conditions to a contract](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-asset-management/contract-management/t_AddTermsAndConditionsToAContract.md)** After you create a terms and conditions record, add the record to a contract that is in the Awaiting Review, Rejected, Renewal Rejected, or Extension Rejected substate. - **[Build a terms and conditions document within a contract](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-asset-management/contract-management/t_BuildTandCDocWinContract.md)** After adding one or more terms and conditions records to a contract, you can build a terms and conditions document within the contract. **Parent Topic:**[Contracts](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-asset-management/contract-management/c_Contracts.md) **Related topics** [Create a contract]() [Adjust a contract]() [Verify contract administrator assignment for notification]() [Send the contract for approval]() [Create a contract rate card]() [Monitor a contract]()
