# Enable the asset put away task for your stockroom in the Enterprise Asset Workspace

Enable the Asset put away feature for your stockroom so that the Asset put away task is automatically created to track asset movement.

## Before you begin

Role required: inventory\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Asset Workspace** > **Inventory**.

2.  Select the **All stockrooms** tab.

3.  From the list of available stockrooms, select the stockroom for which you want to enable the Asset pick task and Asset put away task.

4.  On the Stockroom Details form, select the **Warehouse tasks required** check box.

5.  Select **Save**.


## Result

The inventory user can perform asset put away for in stock assets in the stockroom.
