# Manage repair of defective assets in your stockroom in the Hardware Asset Workspace

Optimize your inventory by getting the defective hardware assets in your stockroom repaired using the Repair flow.

In the Repair flow, an asset manager requests the repair of defective assets in the stockroom. An asset technician troubleshoots, repairs, and evaluates the asset. The evaluated asset is either put to use or disposed of.
