# View attestations for a serialized hardware asset

View all the attestation records associated with a serialized hardware asset to check the status of previous asset attestations.

## Before you begin

Role required: asset or inventory\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Hardware Asset Workspace** > **Asset estate**.

2.  Select the **Hardware assets** tab.

3.  Select the asset for which you want to view the list of attestations.

4.  From the contextual side bar of the asset form, select the AssetLifeCycle icon \[Omitted image "asset-life-cycle-icon-ham.png"\] Alt text:.

    All the asset lifecycle events are shown.

5.  In the **Attestation** card, select **View records**.

    The list of all attestations created for that asset is shown with the following details:

    -   **Attestation number**
    -   **Status**
    -   **User**
    -   **Attestation date**
