# Create an unrecognized publisher integration mapping

Create an unrecognized publisher-to-subscription integration mapping for your engineering applications. You can create these mappings when the content resolver doesn't automatically identify a specific publisher.

## Before you begin

Role required: sam\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Software Asset Workspace** > **License operations** > **Engineering apps integration** > **Unrecognized publisher integration map**.

2.  Select **New**.

3.  On the Create New Unrecognized Publisher Integration Map form, enter the name of the unrecognized publisher in the **Publisher** field.

4.  Select the appropriate subscription integration for the publisher using the lookup \(\[Omitted image "search-icon.png"\] Alt text: Lookup icon\) icon.

5.  Select **Save**.


## Result

The publisher to subscription integration mapping that you have created appears in the list of unrecognized publisher integration maps.
