# Create user subscriptions in the workspace

Create software subscriptions for SaaS and SSO applications for users in the Software Asset Workspace.

## Before you begin

The User subscription option is available only if the Software Asset Management - SaaS License Management \(sn\_sam\_saas\_int\) plugin is activated.

Role required: sam\_admin or sam\_user

## About this task

If you’re using Software Asset Workspace, the option to create user subscriptions in Core UI is inactive.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to the Create New Software Subscription form.

Navigate to **All** &gt; **Software Asset** &gt; **Software Subscriptions**.

**Software Asset Workspace**

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** &gt; **Software Asset Workspace** &gt; **License operations**.
2.  Select **User subscription**.

</table>2.  Select **New**.

3.  On the Create New Software Subscription form, fill in the fields.

4.  Select **Save**.
