# Personalize List, Gantt and Kanban display for CWM Boards

Show, hide, or rearrange columns and apply sorting or filters to personalize the way data is displayed in Collaborative Work Management Boards based on your workflow.

## Before you begin

[Create a Board in CWM](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/collaborative-work-management/create-boards-in-cwm.md).

Role required: sn\_cwm.cwm\_user

## About this task

The columns available to show or hide are determined by the default list layout of the table. To configure which columns are available, see [Configure columns available for personalization in CWM](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/collaborative-work-management/configure-column-personalization-in-cwm.md).

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Collaborative Work Management**.

2.  From a Space, select a Board that you want to personalize.

3.  Select List, Gantt, or Kanban for the Board and select the Personalize icon \(\[Omitted image "icon-personalize.png"\] Alt text: Personalize List and Gantt views.\).

4.  Update the display of the view on the Board or hide views.

**Personalize List and Gantt**

Change the vertical categorization of task cards using the **Vertical lane** field.

**Show or hide views**

Show or hide the Board views, including Dashboard, List, Gantt, and Kanban, from the Views tab of the Personalize side panel.

 Turning off a view hides its tab from the tab strip for you on that Board. Re-enabling the view restores the tab without losing any data. Changing this setting is the only view-level change that triggers the **Save view** button.

 **Note:** If you turn off the Dashboard view and someone shares a direct link to a dashboard on that Board with you, opening the link opens the Board's default view instead of the dashboard.
