# Create RIDAC records from RIDAC by Type page

Create and manage RIDAC records organized by type in Project Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required: it\_project\_manager

## About this task

Use RIDAC by Type page to focus on specific RIDAC record types. Each tab displays only records of that type in a list, making it easy to filter, search, and organize your records.

## Procedure

1.  Open a project from the home page of Project Workspace.

    For information, see [Access the Project Workspace](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/project-workspace/access-new-project-workspace.md).

2.  Navigate to **RIDAC** > **RIDAC by Type**.

3.  Select a tab to view records of that type:

    -   **Risks**: View all risk records for the project
    -   **Issues**: View all issue records for the project
    -   **Decisions**: View all decision records for the project
    -   **Actions**: View all action records for the project
    -   **Change Requests**: View all change request records for the project

4.  Select **New** to create a risk, issue, decision, action, or change request.

    You can personalize fields that you want to display on RIDAC list using more actions \(\[Omitted image "more-actions-homepage-icon.png"\] Alt text: more action icons.\) menu. You can apply advanced filters, sort, or group by fields to the RIDAC list.

5.  On the form, fill in the fields.

    -   [Decision form on Project Workspace](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/project-workspace/decision-form-project-workspace.md)
    -   [Request change form on Project Workspace](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/project-workspace/request-change-form-project-workspace.md)
6.  Select **Save**.

7.  Select the RIDAC record and select **Export** to download RIDAC record as an Excel or CSV file.

8.  From RIDAC by type page, select Convert to RIDAC \(\[Omitted image "convert-to-ridac-icon.png"\] Alt text:\) icon to convert a RIDAC record to another record.
