# Capture actual monetary benefits

Capture the actual benefit from the planned benefits to measure revenue and calculate the profits.

-   Role required: sn\_align\_ws.spw\_financial\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Project Workspace** and open a project.

2.  Capture actual monetary benefits using one of the options.

**Using Monetary benefit plan related list**

1.  Select the **Monetary Benefit Plans** related list.
2.  Select name of the required benefit plan and select the **Monetary Benefit Plan Breakdowns** list to view the monetary benefit plans breakdown.
3.  Select the value from the **Entered benefit** field.

**Using finanicals record page**

1.  Select the **Financials** tab.
2.  Select the options \[Omitted image "fin-options.png"\] Alt text: Option to add expense lines. from the required cell of a monetary benefit plan row.
3.  Select **Add actual benefits**.

Monetary Benefit Plan Breakdown side-panel is displayed.

</table>3.  You can change the previously captured planned benefit from the **Entered benefit** field.

4.  Enter the actuals benefits resulted from the work execution in the **Actual benefit** field and select **Save**.
