# Create a field map

Map the fields for each table map from Strategic Planning to Agile Development 2.0, SAFe, Project Portfolio Management and vice-versa.

## Before you begin

Ensure that you have created a table map for an alignment integration record. For more information, see [Create a table map](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/scenario-planning-in-spw/create-custom-table-maps-for-custom-planning-items.md).

**Note:** If the execution field type is 'Reference' and the alignment field type is 'String', then the sync will not work.

Role required: sn\_align\_core.apw\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Strategic Planning** > **Integrations**.

2.  Select **ServiceNow Internal.**

3.  In the **Table Maps** related list, select the table map for which you want to create a field map.

4.  Create a new field map by selecting **New** in the Field Maps tab.

5.  In the [Field map form](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-business-management/scenario-planning-in-spw/field-map-form.md), fill in the fields.

6.  Click **Submit**.
