# Add requirements for a demand

Define and manage requirements for a demand to capture its functional and technical specifications. Demand managers can associate planned tasks with the requirement, and assign an owner responsible for verifying that requirements are met.

## Before you begin

Role required: it\_demand\_manager

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Strategic Planning Workspace**.

2.  Select the Demands icon \[Omitted image "demands-icon.png"\].

3.  Open a demand from the **List** page.

4.  Select **Details** from the navigation menu.

5.  Select the **Requirements** tab.

    **Note:** If the **Requirements** tab isn't visible, select **More** > **Requirements**.

6.  Select **New**.

7.  On the Requirement form, fill in the fields.

8.  Select **Save**.
