# Edit a dashboard

Customize or edit a dashboard by adding sections, filters, images, lists, process mining maps, and rich text. If the dashboard has been shared, any changes you make are applied globally.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin or sn\_align\_core.apw\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Strategic Planning Workspace**.

2.  Select the Demands icon \[Omitted image "demands-icon.png"\].

3.  Select **Edit**.

4.  Select **Add new element**.

    A list of available elements appear in the drop-down.

5.  Select a widget type and configure it.

6.  Drag to move the widget or resize.

7.  Select **Save**.

8.  Select **Exit editing mode**.
