# Fill out a smart assessment for a demand

Answer your assessment questions so your input counts toward the demand's score, helping it move through qualification without waiting on a manual review.

## Before you begin

Role required:

-   sn\_smart\_asmt.actor to fill an assessment
-   sn\_smart\_asmt.assessment\_reader for view-only access

## About this task

Smart assessments are available at a demand level and the entire demands module level. Use the module level Smart Assessments menu item to view all assessments assigned to you across demands. Demand managers can view all assessments assigned to users but can't make any edits.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Strategic Planning Workspace**.

2.  Select the Demands icon \[Omitted image "demands-icon.png"\].

3.  Select **Smart Assessments** from the main navigation menu.

4.  From the Smart Assessments list, select the assessment instance you want to open.

    The form displays the assessment questions and any answers already filled in.

5.  If you have access to fill in the assessment, answer the questions.

6.  Select the All Questions drop-down list to filter the questions in the assessment.

7.  Use the **Next** and **Previous** options to navigate between sections.

8.  Select **Save**.


## Result

After every stakeholder on the demand has completed their smart assessment, the scores populate onto the demand and the demand moves automatically to **Qualified**.
