# Run host data collection on demand

You can perform host data collection on demand, if you need to perform data collection before the job is scheduled to run.

## Before you begin

Ensure that you have sufficient permissions to create CIs.

Role required: agent\_client\_collector\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Agent Client Collector** > **Agents**.

    The **Agent Client Collectors** page appears.

2.  Select an agent with **Status = Alive**.

3.  On the agent form, click the **Collect Host Data** button.
