# Automation opportunity details page

The automation opportunity details page displays resolution steps, activity, and action insights for a selected automation opportunity \(AO\). The page also indicates whether an AO is active or archived.

## Page overview

The details page for an automation opportunity is divided into three panels:

-   **Resolution steps** — displays AI-generated steps for resolving the incidents grouped in the AO. Steps carry a **Generated by AI** label and a generation timestamp. You can regenerate steps or revert to the original AI-generated version.
-   **Compose** — use this panel to add comments visible to all users.
-   **Action Insights** — displays contextual information about the AO, including its relationship to other AOs and any reanalysis alerts.

## AO details fields

The following fields appear in the AO header.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|**Number**|Unique identifier for the AO \(for example, AOPP0000107\).|
|**Group type**|The type of records grouped in the AO \(for example, Incident\).|
|**Record count**|The number of records associated with the AO.|
|**Potential cost savings**|The estimated monthly cost savings if the AO is actioned.|
|**Potential time savings**|The estimated monthly time savings if the AO is actioned.|
|**Automation priority**|The priority level assigned to the AO \(for example, Critical or High\).|
|**Status**|The current state of resolution step generation.|

## Resolution steps panel

The **Resolution steps** panel displays AI-generated steps to help resolve incidents in the AO. The panel includes the date and time the steps were generated.

The following actions are available on an active AO:

-   **Regenerate** — generates a fresh set of resolution steps based on the latest record data.
-   **Revert to AI generated steps** — restores the original AI-generated steps if you have manually edited them.

**Warning:** The generation of resolution steps involves processing your data through third-party providers, which routes traffic to a datacenter outside your region.

Resolution steps on an archived AO are read-only. The **Regenerate** and **Revert to AI generated steps** actions are not available on archived AOs.

## Action Insights panel

The **Action Insights** panel displays contextual cards based on the state of the AO.

|Card|Description|
|----|-----------|
|**Archived AO**|Appears on an archived AO that has no successor, or on an archived AO whose artifacts have been reassigned to a new AO. When a successor exists, links to the new active AO and includes the AO number and the timestamp of the reassignment.|
|**New AO**|Appears on a new AO that includes artifacts from an archived AO. Links to the archived AO and includes the AO number and the timestamp of the reassignment.|
|**KB created**|Appears when a knowledge base article has been created for the AO. Links to the KB article.|
|**Problem created**|Appears when a problem record has been created for the AO. Links to the problem record.|
|**Record reanalysis status**|Appears when the records associated with the AO have changed since the resolution steps were generated. Prompts you to regenerate the steps to reflect the latest data.|

## Banner messages

Banner messages appear at the top of the details page to indicate the AO's relationship to other AOs.
