# Azure NAT Gateway pattern-based discovery

Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns finds Azure NAT Gateway resources on your cloud environment. Discovering some of these resources might require updating to the latest version of the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns application from the ServiceNow Store.

## Pattern-based discovery and mapping requirements

## Data collected by Discovery during horizontal discovery

Discovery populates the data in the CMDB when running the Azure - NAT Gateway \(LP\) pattern.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|Object ID \[object\_id\]|The unique Azure resource identifier for the NAT Gateway.|
|Name \[name\]|The name of the NAT Gateway resource.|
|State \[state\]|The operational state of the NAT Gateway.|
|Install Status \[install\_status\]|Install status of the resource. Default value is Installed.|

## CI relationships

The Azure - NAT Gateway \(LP\) pattern creates these relationships to support Azure NAT Gateway discovery.

## Azure Tag discovery

The Azure - NAT Gateway \(LP\) pattern collects tags and populates them in the Key Value \[cmdb\_key\_value\] table.

|Value \[value\]|Tag value.|
|Configuration item \[configuration\_item\]|References the NAT Gateway \[cmdb\_ci\_nat\_gateway\] table.|
