## Before you begin

Role required: discovery\_admin or admin

## Procedure

1.  To edit [Discovery properties](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/discovery/r_DiscoveryProperties.md), navigate to **All** > **Discovery Definition** > **Properties**.

    -   glide.discovery.certs.cert\_admin\_user\_id
    -   glide.discovery.certs.days\_before\_expiration\_to\_create\_renewal\_task
    -   glide.discovery.certs.enable\_incident\_creation\_for\_expired\_certificates
