# Launch an alert analysis from the ServiceNow Otto panel

Initiate an alert analysis from the ServiceNow Otto panel. The alert analysis displays directly in the panel for convenient review.

## Before you begin

Role required: evt\_mgmt\_operator

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Service Operations Workspace**.

2.  Select the List icon \(\[Omitted image "icon-lists.png"\] Alt text: List icon\) in the navigation bar.

3.  Select **Lists** > **Alerts** > **All Alerts**.

4.  Initiate an alert analysis from the ServiceNow Otto panel using one of the available methods.

**From the list**

1.  Select the ServiceNow Otto panel icon \(\[Omitted image "icon-ai-sparkle.png"\] Alt text: ServiceNow Otto panel icon.\).

The panel displays.

2.  Enter an alert analysis request, including the alert number, in the field at the bottom of the panel.

**Note:** If you provide incomplete information, ServiceNow Otto prompts you for the missing details.

The alert analysis displays in the panel.

1.  Open an alert.
2.  Select the ServiceNow Otto panel icon \(\[Omitted image "icon-ai-sparkle.png"\] Alt text: ServiceNow Otto panel icon.\).

3.  Select **Perform alert analysis**.

The alert analysis displays in the panel.
