Move the **Aggregated** entry from the **Available** list to the **Selected** list. 3. Select the up/down arrows to determine where the **Aggregated** entry is to appear on the form. 4. You can change the value of the **Aggregated** field only if the value of the **Automated** field is true. 4. Select **true** for the specified filter to apply to groups with identical CIs and pattern identifiers or select **false** to ignore the filter and create aggregated groups for all alerts in the system. **Related topics** [Manage pattern identifier attributes for alert grouping](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/ptrn-attributes-alrt-aggregate.md)
