Authentication is performed using ThousandEyes Monitor V1 or V2 access tokens. For more information, see [Integrate ThousandEyes with OAuth authentication](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/event-collection-thousandeyes-oauth.md). - Basic webhook authentication: Provides a basic standard of authentication, without the need for ThousandEyes Active Directory. This authentication can be especially useful for distributed small teams, such as SRE or DevOps teams. For more information, see [Integrate ThousandEyes with basic authentication](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-operations-management/event-management/thousandeyes-events-webhook.md).
