Standard change templates copy any file attached to the template to a change request that the template creates. ## Before you begin Role required: itil, admin ## Procedure 1. Navigate to **All** > **Change** > **Standard Change** > **My Proposals**. 2. Open the proposal to which you want to add the attachment to. 3. Click the \[Omitted image "attachfiles.png"\] Alt text: Manage Attachments. icon to browse and select the file. The attached file appears at the top of the proposal. **Note:** You can add more than one file as an attachment. 4. Click **Update** and request approval for the proposal. ## Result Any attachment associated with a standard change proposal gets copied to the standard change template that is created when the proposal is approved. When that template is used to create a standard change, any attachment associated to it is also copied to those standard change requests. **Parent Topic:**[Standard change catalog](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-service-management/change-management/c_StandardChangeCatalogPlugin.md) **Related topics** [Configure standard change catalog properties]() [Create a standard change task template]() [Modify or retire a standard change template]()
