# Configuring the Azure pipeline for DevOps

Change control, artifacts, and packages can be configured in the Azure pipeline for integration with DevOps.

You can configure change control in Azure pipelines two ways.

-   Use the [Azure Invoke REST API](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-service-management/devops-change-velocity/dev-ops-azure-change-control-api.md).
-   Use the [ServiceNow DevOps extension for Azure DevOps](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/it-service-management/devops-change-velocity/config-dev-ops-extensions-azure.md).

The **ServiceNow DevOps** extension for Azure DevOps includes:

-   ServiceNow DevOps service connection
-   ServiceNow DevOps Release Gate
-   Azure build \(CI\) pipeline agent and server job custom tasks
