# Add a product feature to a product or service

Add a product feature to a product or service to help you plan and manage the scope of a release.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_dpr\_model.product\_manager

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Digital Product Release Workspace**.

2.  Select the products and services icon \(\[Omitted image "dpr-icon-products.png"\] Alt text: Products and services icon.\).

3.  Select a product or service from the list to open.

4.  Select the **Product features** tab.

5.  Add or modify a product feature.

    -   To add a new product feature, select **Add feature**.
    -   To modify an existing product feature, select it from the list.
6.  On the Add feature dialog box, fill in the fields.

    |Field|Description|
    |-----|-----------|
    |Feature name|Name of the product feature.|
    |Priority|Priority level for the feature. The level determines how much effort is needed to meet the feature's goals.|
    |Description|Brief, high-level description of the product feature.|

7.  Select **Confirm**.

    The product feature is created and opened in the Product Feature record page.

8.  On the **Details** tab, update the details about the feature, including its state, owner name, and assignment group.

9.  On the **Product Enhancements** tab, manage enhancements to plan the product feature into multiple versions of the product.

    1.  Select **New**.

    2.  Enter details for the enhancement on the **Details** tab.

    3.  Select **Save**.

10. Add artifacts for the product feature.

    1.  Select the attachment icon \(\[Omitted image "dpr-icon-attachment.png"\] Alt text: Attachment icon.\) on the contextual menu to open the **Attachments** pane.

    2.  Select the **Select** button to upload and attach a file.
