# View and approve records in Service Operations Workspace

Access the My Approvals in SOW to manage the approval requests for change, request, catalog task, and requested item.

## Before you begin

Role required: itil, sn\_change\_read, sn\_request\_read

Confirm that the **Approvals** component is enabled in the SOW layout. For more information, see .

**Note:** If **My Approvals** doesn't appear under **List**, verify that approval requests are actively assigned to you and that you have one of the required roles: itil, sn\_change\_read, or sn\_request\_read

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Service Operations Workspace**.

    **Important:** The **My Approvals** navigation item is visible only if the Approvals component is enabled in the workspace layout and your user account has an approver role assigned.

2.  Navigate to **List** > **Approvals** > **My Approvals**.

3.  Select a record to approve or reject the request.

4.  Select **Approve** to approve the request.

5.  Select **Reject** to reject the request.
