# Create software contracts for the legacy Software Asset Management plugin

You can create binding agreements that enable buyers to legally use software that is tracked and managed through the legacy Software Asset Management \(com.snc.software\_asset\_management\) plugin.

## Before you begin

Role required: contract\_manager

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Contract** > **Software License**.

2.  Click **New**.

3.  Complete the form.

4.  Add the software license to the contract.

    Be sure to use the **Software License** option. The **License Bundle** and **Software License Contracts** options are deprecated.
