# Change the owner of a responsive dashboard

The owner of a dashboard can edit it, and share it with other users.

## Before you begin

Role required: Only users with the dashboard\_admin or admin role can change a dashboard owner.

To learn who owns a dashboard, navigate to pa\_dashboards\_list.do and search for the dashboard.

This topic refers to owners of Core UI dashboards. ## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Self-Service** > **Dashboards** or **All** > **Performance Analytics** > **Dashboards**.

2.  Open the dashboard whose owner that you want to change.

3.  Click the context menu \(\[Omitted image "Form\_MenuIcon.png"\] Alt text:\) and select **Dashboard Properties**.

4.  Select a new owner in the **Owner** field.

5.  Click **Update**.
