# Associate an initiative with a project

Associate an existing improvement initiative with a project.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_process\_mining\_analyst, sn\_process\_mining\_power\_user, or sn\_process\_mining\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Open the project view.

2.  Select the Initiatives icon \(\[Omitted image "improve-initiative-icon.png"\] Alt text: Initiatives icon\) from the Notes and initiatives panel.

3.  Search for and check one or more initiatives to associate with the project.

4.  Select **Link**.


## Result

The associated improvement initiative displays in the refreshed initiatives list.
