# Edit email settings

Edit the email settings as needed to match the settings on your mail server.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to the Settings page.

2.  Select the **Email** tab.

3.  Select **Edit**.

4.  On the Email Server Configuration form, edit the following fields as needed.

    |Field|Description|
    |-----|-----------|
    |Host|IP address of the email server.|
    |Port|Port of the email server. Typically port 25.|
    |From Address|From address to use for the alert|
    |Enable TLS Encryption|Setting that must match the TLS setting on the email server.|
    |Enable Connection Logging|Option to log all email server connections to a file|

5.  Select **Save**.
