# Activate the Auto-Close Stale Detections job

Activate the scheduled job to auto-close stale detections on a recurring basis.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Azure D4IoT Vulnerability Integration** > **Admin** > **Guided Setup**.

2.  In the **Auto-Close Stale Detections \(Optional\)** section, select the **Activate Auto-Close Stale Detections Scheduled Job** task.

3.  Select **Configure**.

4.  Next to the **Active** field, select the checkbox.

5.  In the **Run** field, select the option that fits your needs.

    By default, the field is set to **On Demand** but you can change it based on your needs. For example, you can select **Daily** and choose the hour and minute of the day in the **Time** field that appears.

6.  Select **Save**.
