# Add a header discount to a quote

Apply a percentage-based discount to the entire quote, or to a selected type of line items within the quote. The quote line items automatically inherit the designated discount percentage as a manual adjustment on the quote line level.

## Before you begin

Role required: Sales Agent \[sn\_sales\_common.sales\_agent\]

## Procedure

1.  In the **Configurable Workspace**, select the **List** \[Omitted image "list-outline-24.svg"\] Alt text: view.

2.  Navigate to **Quotes** > **All**.

3.  Select your quote.

4.  In the **Line Items** tab, select the **More Actions** menu \[Omitted image "options-icon.png"\] Alt text: at the header level.

5.  Select **Apply bulk discount**.

6.  In the **Quote bulk discount** dialog, choose either **Override current line-level manual adjustments** or **Retain current adjustments and apply for all other line items**, and enter the quote header discount percentage.

7.  Select **Apply**.
