# Configure Properties

To put a sales territory model into use at the CRM entities, enter the sys\_id of an active sales territory model. By default, this model and its territories will be utilized for sales territory assignments.

## Before you begin

Role required: sales territory admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Sales Territory Management** > **Properties**.

2.  On the Sales Territory Management Properties form, enter the sys\_id of an active sales territory model.

    **Note:** By default, this model and its territories are used for sales territory assignments.

3.  Select **Save**.
