# Use hierarchical list view for quote line items

Sales agents can view quote line items as a hierarchical list, which helps to view the parent and child relationship between line items.

## Before you begin

Role required: sales\_agent

## Procedure

1.  In the CRM Workspace, select the List icon \[Omitted image "list-outline-24.svg"\] Alt text:.

2.  Navigate to **Quotes** > **All**.

3.  Select the quote that you’re working with and open the **Line items** tab.

4.  Use the control to manage the line items.

    |Control|Description|
    |-------|-----------|
    |Caret \[Omitted image "icon-caret.png"\] Alt text:|Opens the hierarchical list view showing the child line items.|
    |Pencil \[Omitted image "icon-pencil.png"\] Alt text:|Make additional configuration changes to the products in the line item.|
    |Number \[Omitted image "icon-list-item-number.png"\] Alt text:|Shows the number of child line items contained in the parent line item.|
    |Filter \[Omitted image "icon-filter.png"\] Alt text:|Filters line items.|
    |Toggle \[Omitted image "icon-list-toggle.png"\] Alt text:|Toggles between hierarchical view and standard view.|
