# Check the status of bounced email addresses

Choose the email address record that you want to modify, and update the state field as needed.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **System Logs** > **Bounce Email Addresses**.

2.  From the state of the mail address, select the state and choose the desired state to block or unblock the email address

    **Important:** Before modifying the status, address the reason for the failure of that particular email address.

3.  Select the confirm icon \(\[Omitted image "bus-checkmark-circle.svg"\] Alt text: Confirm icon.\) to confirm the status.
