# Add blank lines in an email template

You can easily add blank lines in an email template using HTML tags.

Judicious use of these HTML tags can make your email easier to read.

-   You can use `**<br/>**` to insert a line break
-   You can wrap paragraphs in `**<p> ... </p>**` tags to format your email nicely.
