The auto-upgrade mechanism automatically upgrades ServiceNow-managed applications and plugins across your instances on a regular schedule without requiring manual intervention. Auto-upgrade applies exclusively to ServiceNow-managed applications and plugins; customer-customized or third-party applications aren't included in automatic upgrades.
