# Disable stack trace formatting in system logs

Enable viewing original unformatted log messages by disabling the collapsible stack trace formatting in system logs.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **System Definition** > **Client Scripts**.

2.  In the **Name** field, enter `FormatStackForSyslog`.

3.  Select **FormatStackForSyslog**.

4.  Clear the **Active** check box.

5.  Select **Update**.
