# Role Trails

Displays audits of roles in the ServiceNow® instance.

For a given role, Role Trails show:

-   Attribute changes
-   Parent-child relation changes

To access Role Trails, navigate to **All** > **System Security** > **Identity and Access Audit** > **Role Trails**. The Role Trails page is displayed with the following information.

|Role Name|Name of the role.|
|Role Sys id|Details about the Role sys\_id for the audited record.|
|Source Table|Details about the Source Table where the audit performed.|
|Action|Describes the audit action.|
|Created By|The user who made the change.|
|Created|The time and date the audit was performed.|
