# Dynamic Guidance

Dynamic Guidance is a proactive AI assistant invoked from Help Center and the ServiceNow Otto panel that generates voice-based and text-based, step-by-step, real-time guidance across platforms.

Dynamic Guidance addresses the need for personalized contextual support by using artificial intelligence to respond to your queries in natural language. It responds conversationally, guiding you effectively within the product experience. Dynamic Guidance uses Google services to share the real-time screen and provide guidance.

**Note:** The minimum version required is Zurich patch 8 and Australia patch 1.

## Benefits of Dynamic Guidance

Dynamic Guidance answers questions related to ServiceNow® using indexed content from the official ServiceNow® product documentation or other configured sources. Common use cases include:

-   Onboarding on a new module or feature for the first time
-   Navigating unfamiliar workflows
-   Learning configuration options and correct practices
-   Getting step-by-step help mid-task without exiting the platform
-   Accessibility-first guidance
-   Fully voice-driven as no visual overlays are required

Admins can extend the documentation sources available to Dynamic Guidance by configuring External Content Connectors \(XCC\)—enabling guidance from custom knowledge bases, internal runbooks, and standard ServiceNow® product documentation.

## Limitations

Dynamic Guidance currently has the following limitations:

-   Supports English language only.
-   Supported only in the United States and European regions.
-   Does not include a highlight feature for guidance.
-   Does not perform actions on behalf of users.
-   Supported only on Core UI and configurable workspace pages, and can't be launched from Service Portal pages.
