# Configure stacked view for the Activity stream

Configure a stacked view option for journal fields in the Activity stream.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to `sys_properties.list`.

2.  Add the **glide.ui.activity.journal.stacked** system property.

    For more information on adding a system property, see Add a system property.

3.  Set the Value to **true**.

    **Important:** Ensure there are no mandatory fields. Mandatory fields in the Activity stream prevent the stacked view option from displaying.

4.  To give agents the option of using a rich text editor, search for and set the **glide.ui.journal.use\_html** property to **true** .
