# Configure access to create filter sets in the Activity stream

Configure access to create filter sets in the Activity stream by restricting specified users.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to `sys_user.list`.

2.  Select a user.

3.  From Related Links, select the **Roles** tab.

4.  Select **Edit**.

5.  Add **workspace.activity\_stream\_restrict\_create\_filter\_set** to the Roles List.

6.  Select **Save**.


## Result

The restricted user profile can no longer create filter sets in the Activity stream.
