Plan and design your content. 2. Create a site. The site is the container that holds all the content. To simplify your process, you can copy an existing site and edit its components. For more information on creating a site, see [Create a site](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/t_CreateANewSite.md). For more information on copying a site, see [Copy a site](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/t_CopyASite.md). 3. Add pages to the site. Pages contain blocks of information for the site. For more information, see [Create a content page](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/t_CreateAContentPage.md). 4. Create content blocks to customize the layout, headers, menu navigation, lists, and static and dynamic content. Content blocks are chunks of actual HTML that make up the content page. There are various content block types available to help with your customization. For more information, see [Content blocks](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/c_ContentBlocks.md). 5. Add style to your site using themes, style sheets, and frames. Neither content sites or content pages reference style sheets directly. Configure them using the Themes or Style Sheets options. For more information, see [Style in Content Management](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/c_StyleInContentManagement.md). 6. Test the site. After you create or modify a site, test the site to ensure that content displays properly and all links work correctly. For more information, see [Test the site](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/c_ContentManagementTesting.md). - **[Content sites](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/c_ContentSite.md)** A content site is a group of related content pages that have the same basic theme, layout, and URL suffix. - **[Content pages in CMS](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/platform-user-interface/content-management-system/c_ContentPages.md)** Content pages are the core of the Content Management System.
