# Search the Activity stream

Use keywords to search the Activity stream and find work notes, emails, and comments.

## Before you begin

Role required: workspace\_user

## Procedure

1.  Open a record in your instance.

2.  From the Activity stream, select the search icon \(\[Omitted image "IconSearch.png"\] Alt text: Icon search.\).

3.  In the **Search Activity Stream** field, enter keywords to find results.

    **Note:**

    -   Work notes, comments and emails will highlight matching keywords.
    -   Attachments will not highlight matching keywords, but the attachments will display in the Activity stream.
