# Set map application scope

Enable map application scope to specify which application can modify your Map Page configuration.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  In the banner, select the Application scope icon \(\[Omitted image "polaris-scope-selector-icon.png"\] Alt text: Scope selector icon.\).

2.  Select **Application scope: Global**.

3.  From the Application list, select the required application.
