# Disable user presence

You can disable user presence globally by enabling a system property.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## About this task

Enabling the property turns off all user presence features.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to `sys_properties.list`.

2.  Locate the property named **glide.ui.presence.disabled**.

3.  Set the **Value** to **true**.
