# Use Screen Summarization

Screen Summarization is a feature that supports visually impaired and low-vision users by providing AI-generated summaries of workspace pages and their sections. The page and section summaries can be read aloud with a screen reader.

## Before you begin

Install Screen Summarization by requesting it from the ServiceNow® Store. Visit the [ServiceNow® Store](https://store.servicenow.com/store) to view all the available apps and information about submitting requests to the store.

Role required: workspace\_user

## Procedure

1.  Open a workspace page in your instance.

2.  Press Command+U \(Mac\) or Control+U \(Windows\) to open the Screen summarization modal.

    The Screen Summarization modal opens.

3.  Choose between the following actions:

    -   Press Option+P \(Mac\) or Alt+P \(Windows\) for an AI-generated summary of the entire page.
    -   Press Option+S \(Mac\) or Alt+S \(Windows\) for an AI-generated summary of the selected section.

## Result

The Screen Summarization modal generates a summary and can read it aloud with a screen reader.
