# Configure the Symantec DLP  integration settings

Modify the  Symantec DLP  integration default system properties.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_dlir.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Symantec DLP Integration** > **Settings**.

2.  Modify the following settings as required.

This property enables you to restrict any state synchronization between ServiceNow and Symantec DLP incidents. -   Type: Boolean
-   Default value: **true**

Send DLP Incident creation notes back to Symantec sn\_sym\_dlp.incident\_creation\_notes

This property enables you to send a note back to Symantec as soon as an incident is created in ServiceNow. -   Type: Boolean
